I am sitting here on my couch and reflect on yesterdays events. I am in Rhodes Island and taking a well deserved break. Yesterday was a nice day at the beach, it was sunny and the storm which came through the area the day before left some really nice waves in the Atlantic Ocean.  My idea was to wrestle the waves and have some fun. Everything went well until I tried to get out of the water. At the last moment, one big wave came in and swept me off my feet. Being tossed around like a piece of laundry in the dryer, I immediately lost control over the situation. The wave basically picked me up and slammed me back down on the ground. My head was hitting the ground first and the sand scraped off a few inches of skin.

When i finally got out of the water , i realizes that it was worst than i thought it would be. My neck was hurting and my head was throbbing  my right ear and my right shoulder was bleeding from being scraped by the sand. Fun Fun Fun

Now, 24 hours have passed and i have a gigantic headache and my neck is a stiff as a pvc pipe, can’t move it at all. My shoulders are sore and bloody.  I guess that was the last time I try to wrestle a big wave. I am glad i got out of it alive and only with a few bruises and scratches and i did learn my lesson.

But it didn’t stop there, after I got back to the house, I had the idea to relax and lay in the sun and sleep off my injuries. Well i sure did sleep and ended up waking up sunburned. What a day.
