My Personal Goals With The 100 Day Challenge

As some of you know this year I am part of the first ever 100 Day Challenge. This Challenge was created by 2 of my closest networking buddies, Jordan Schultz and Adam Chandler. Some of you might be in the challenge as well and for those who are I am looking forward working with you.

In order to really have some sort of structure I believe the best way for me is to put down my Goals on video to hold myself accountable when times get difficult and when I feel like not doing what I am supposed to do.

I am inviting you to follow me on my journey to reach my goals and to make it official I posted the video below. :-)

3 Must Have Sharing Tools For Your Blog Visitors

In this post I want to cover a vital part of blogging “Sharing Tools”. It is the option for your visitors to share your content. If you have a blog, I hope your main focus is on getting your content syndicated and driving traffic to your site.  In order for your blog to become an authority site it is so important that your links are everywhere and links come back to your site. The best way and the most natural way to get syndication  is from real time visitors.

This post is not going focus on where you get the visitors, I will cover that in a future post. But before you receive traffic you must be ready for it, so let’s jump into the 3 Must Have Sharing Buttons

1. DiggDigg

This plugin is in my opinion the most powerful sharing tool for a blog. Included in DiggDigg are all major social media and social bookmarking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Buzz, Linkedin, Digg, StumbleUpon just to name a few. Before DiggDigg, if a blogger wanted to have those buttons displayed, they had to manually install buttons everytime they released a new post. So DiggDigg is taking all that away and automatically adds the button to wherever you want them.

2. Onlywire

This sharing tool allows your visitors, if he or she is a free or paid member of OnlyWire, to share your content to over 20-30 bookmarking sites and as well a few social sites. This, besides DiggDigg is vital, imagine 1 person can get your content out to a tons of sites with one click. In order to get OnlyWire onto your site you will need to install the plugin.

Not everybody is using OnlyWire, for those who don’t, you’ll need to offer some sort of sharing tool which targets the bookmarking sites like delicious, mister wong, yahoo buzz, google bookmarks just to name a few as well as Social media Sites. My favorite plugin for that is going to be the 3rd tool.

3.Sexy Bookmarks

Of course there a many plugins for just sharing, but I like Sexy Bookmarks because it has a clean look to it. As I said before this is for those who do not  have an OnlyWire account.

Keep it simple, give your visitors a few option  don’t make it to difficult. But one thing you must understand, sharing your content is very important, in order for it to get shared  is when you really give value, that is the key, the more value the more shares you will receive,  but do not make the mistake of taking it for granted. The fastest way to get no shares is if your blog is a huge ass sales pitch.

PEOPLE WILL NOT SHARE if they feel the blog or post has no value. Remember, their reputation is on the line when they share your content, so be sure that if you want your content  to be shared make it count. Don’t put out crap, make it your original content, make it count.

All the sharing tools wont do you any good if your are not willing to be a smart blogger. There is just no room for FLOGS. Flogs are Fake Blogs. If you want to build your brand, become the brand with your original content.

JUST DO IT be unique and original.

Use these sharing tools and your posts will get shared.

The Traffic Dashboard Insights- Traffic Strategies You Need To Know About

Kim Roach creator of Traffic Dashboard, is one of my favorite bloggers and a down to earth great gal and of course a Traffic Queen. A rare Bread of Internet Marketer who consistently provides pure value to her readers and followers.

Now in the internet marketing arena she is know as the Traffic Queen and from what I have seen it is the right title for her.

The best part about Kim is that not like some other so called Goroos :-)   she actually gets down and dirty working in her super secret underground marketing laboratory, to find even better strategies when it comes to driving traffic.

Once every blue moon she will see daylight and emerges from her secret layer to show us her newest and latest strategies.

As I said before they call her the traffic queen and she has just unlocked her best traffic strategies in her latest product called The Traffic Dashboard. Not just 20 top traffic getting methods but a video training center as well. These traffic techniques are very unique, very ninja like and most of us have not even heard of them. Although they are right in front of us.

But let me do you a favor and give you a screen-shot of the Traffic dashboard

Traffic Dashboard – a sneak peek inside…

What is Kim showing us on the inside:
  • An underground tool for extracting exactly where your competitor’s website traffic is coming from. This is like being given the keys to the kingdom.  :-) (If you thought Alexa was cool imagine knowing EXACTLY how much traffic your competitors were getting each day and knowing exactly where that traffic was coming from.)
  • A super simple method for cramming your opt-in list with 200-400 subscribers in a single day…(and NO this has nothing to do with ad swaps)
  • A really cool strategy that shows you how to get 10x MORE traffic from EVERY article you write.
  • 30 Day Marketing Blitz
  • Webinar Swaps
  • Autoresponder Swaps
  • Link Roundups
  • Integration Marketing
  • Tutorial Sites
  • Ebook Syndication
  • Guest Blogging
  • Blogging Alliances
  • Top List Traffic

… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Kim show’s us 10 different ways to re-purpose our content for additional traffic and exposure. Use just a couple of the strategies in this video and you’ll have no excuse for not getting AT LEAST a couple hundred visitors for every article you publish.

As many of us probably already know, traditional article marketing is becoming less and less effective. What worked in 2004 simply doesn’t cut it anymore. You have to actually TRY to mess this one up! Because the point-and-click learning system forces you to take action.

This thing is packed with over 8 hours of juicy traffic goodness… NO fluff… NO filler.

With over 8 hours of step-by-step video and enough how-to information to DESTROY literally every question, worry and problem you’ve ever had in regards to traffic.

WARNING

There’s just one thing you should know about this product. In fact, these traffic methods will not work in all situations to truly experience the full power of Traffic Dash Board – YOU MUST PRODUCE AWESOME, HIGH QUALITY, ORIGINAL CONTENT!

Do not take a look at it or think about using the strategies if you are planning on slapping together some useless crap, throw up some auto generated sites and have hundreds or even thousand visitors pouring in… THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR YOU,  PERIOD

If you don’t know how to do basic traffic strategies using simple syndication strategies, linking strategies etc etc, this training and Traffic Dashboard is not for you. Learn the basic first before moving on to this advanced stuff.

This training course was created specifically for people who are looking to build REAL businesses online… People who are dedicated to providing top-notch value for their visitors, subscribers, and customers.

This is something Kim stresses a lot, and I agree. If you’re not willing to take the time and effort to put together some really good content and offer real value, then don’t bother with ‘The Traffic Dashboard’. It will just be a waste of time for you if you don’t have good content in place.

But…

If you are dedicated to building a REAL business online and providing your visitors with REAL VALUE then ‘The Traffic Dashboard’ will help you to grow your business 10x faster.

Plus, at an affordable price to boot!

There are no “tricks”, or “magic traffic buttons” here, just proven traffic strategies that are designed to generate traffic as quickly as possible.

Plus, for those of you who are more advanced, Kim combines old school tactics with new traffic twists and tips that you won’t want to miss…

So, if you’re ready to turn on the traffic tap using Traffic Dashboard, then click below and pick up your FREE Controversial Report.

My favorite browser for 2011, Google Chrome

Every once in awhile I am testing Web Browsers for my own needs, I am a big fan of Mozilla Firefox but lately it is a just a browser which seems to crash more often, which of course doesn’t really help me or anyone else.

I have been playing around with Google Chrome and started to like it very much, and for 2011 it will be my browser of choice. What is it I am looking for in a Web browser.

Speed, features and of course performance.

I noticed that it changed yearly when it comes to the individual browsers.

Google Chrome has added certain Extensions and it runs and operates like Firefox and I would consider Chrome as a top contender. I personally like it.

Check out Google Chrome home page

Whatever Computer system you have, PC or Mac Chrome will figure out your type and will recommend to you the correct file to install. While installing Chrome might ask you about importing your bookmarks from your existing browser. I did use that option with my Firefox browser and it seemed to work fine.

I use certain extensions which were recommended to me when I installed Chrome.

Extensions are put in place to really extend the functionality of the browser. Here are a few I personally use.

1. SEO Quake- I used this on Firefox and it is available with Chrome, it is an extension which measures and assesses SEO Characteristics. If you are into SEO I truly recommend it even if you don’t feel like switching to Chrome use it with Firefox.

2. Chrome Bird- For all you Twitter Fans this extension makes it really easy to connect with your twitter account. Send your tweets or keep a close eye on your account activity.

3. RSS Subscription Extension: Okay this one is actually designed by Google, it makes it easy to subscribe to RSS Feeds and put directly into your account. This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.

4. Google Global- This is available with Firefox as well and it allows you to change the focus of your Search with Google. You can search for results as if you were located in a different country if you were to target countries with your SEO. If you search for a certain keyword, you can see what searchers in the country would see when searching the keyword. As you know, Google search results are different when it comes to local searches.

5. Ultimate Google Chrome Flag- This extension allows you to see which country your Website is hosted in. Based on the hosting location it can affect the page rank in different countries, depending on where the actual search takes place. Is it important, well it is up to you to decide. But once again if SEO is part of your marketing and your goal is first page of google, don’t just stop with North America based Google, go gloal.

There are many more extensions for SEO and other social stuff. But those extensions I have been working with over the last 8 days of 2011 and so far I truly like them.

If you are a Google Chrome User please comment below and share your favorite Extensions and why you are using it. I would love to get a list of the best extensions for us.
